National Museum in Kraków was founded in 1879, is the oldest institution of this kind in Poland. Initially modest harvest is increasing rapidly thanks to grants and private collectors who generously provide pictures, sculptures, graphics, numismatics, old prints, manuscripts and memorabilia at birth.
